



| San Francisco Neuro-Rehabilitation™ (SFNR) helps people who suffered a stroke or brain injury with resulting hemiplegia (paralysis) through neuro-rehabilitation techniques in the San Francisco and San Mateo Counties in California. Our vision is to see that people who have hemiplegia live a fulfilling life through reacquisition of skills and/or acquisition of new skills that will make them function in their current or planned environments. Our NEURO-IFRAH Certified® therapists, Amer and Maria, in the NEURO-IFRAH® Approach for our Adult Stroke or Brain Injured clients with hemiplegia (an approach authored by Waleed Al-Oboudi, MOT, OTR/L - founder of the NEURO-IFRAH®Organization) will strive to increase their independence with their Activities of Daily Living. San Francisco Neuro-Rehabilitation™ was brought about by the need for more functional type of treatments to address stroke and brain injured people with hemiplegia in the San Francisco Bay Area, especially those who no longer being seen for any type of therapy after their insurance coverage has elapsed. SFNR will provide the needed therapy to patients who are no longer seen as rehabilitation candidates by third party payers. He works closely with Waleed Al-Oboudi, MOT, OTR, the originator of the Neuro-Integrative Functional Rehabilitation and Habilitation (Neuro-IFRAH®) in the treatment and management of adults with hemiplegia from a Stroke and Brain Injury in the Neuro-IFRAH® Center in La Jolla, CA. Ryan received intensive training for Instructorship and is in continued advanced clinical mentorship under Waleed Al-Oboudi. He teaches Neuro-IFRAH® courses with the author nationwide and internationally. He is recognized as a Geriatric Certified Specialist and Neurologic Certified Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He has vast experience in the consultation and treatment of adults with hemiplegia from a Stroke and Brain Injury in Acute and Inpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatient, Home Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Ryan is also the pioneer of EXCEED Seminars and Workshop offering Introductory to Advanced Neuro-IFRAH® courses and works with Neuro-IFRAH® Specialist-treated private clientele in the US and internationally. Tim Mencio, PT (Florida) Timogene A Mencio, PT, Neuro-IFRAH® Instructor, Orlando, FL. Tim received his bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1989. He trained under Waleed Al-Oboudi, MOT, OTR/L since 2000. Timogene completed the Neuro-IFRAH® Instructor Training Program in august 2004 and assisted Waleed in teaching the certification courses. He has experience in a variety of settings throughout the continuum of patient care, including:acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities, subacute, home health, long term care, and also treats private patients. Currently, Timogene is practicing in an outpatient setting as the lead therapist, treating the neuro-patient population specializing in the treatment of paitnet with hemiplegia as a result of stroke or brain injury. He has been teaching the Neuro-IFRAH® certification course as well as introductory and intermediate courses since 2004 nationally. |
