Clinical Therapists and Neuro-IFRAH Instructors®:

*Jose Amer de Juan, OTD (Cand.), OTR/L  is recognized by the California Board of
Occupational Therapy as having Advanced Practice Certifications in Hand Therapy (HTC)
and in Physical Agents Modalities (PAM). Amer received honorable commendations for
Home Health Care in 2006 from the: California State Senate, California State Assembly,
City of San Francisco (CA), and from New Haven Home Health Services in Daly City,
CA. He has extensive experience in treating patients who had a stroke in a variety of
settings: private practice, home health, acute care, acute rehabilitation, trauma,
intensive care units, skilled nursing facilities and out-patient settings. Amer currently
sees patients privately, through home health care and skilled nursing facilities. He has
completed several advanced courses for Management of Adults with Hemiplegia. He
received his B.S. in Occupational Therapy (accelerated program) at San Jose State
University (San Jose, California), and his A.S. in Occupational Therapy (accelerated
program, highest honors) at Sacramento City College (Sacramento, California). Amer
was trained in Golf Rehabilitation at Clemson University (Clemson, South Carolina). He
is completing his Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (O.T.D.) at Creighton
University (Omaha, Nebraska). Amer was a curriculum adviser and faculty member for
an Occupational Therapy Assistant(COTA) program at Western Career College in
California (1997-2000); and has been active as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty for OT
educational programs in California (San Jose State University, Dominican College,
Samuel Merritt College, University of Southern California, Western Career College,  
and Sacramento City College). Amer's management experience includes: Director of
Occupational Therapy for Beverly Health Care Center in San Francisco; Director of
Rehabilitation Services for Beverly Rehabilitation in San Francisco; and as Director of
Rehabilitation Services for 3 facilities managed by a Salt Lake City(Utah) based contract  
company in Las Vegas(Nevada).

*Maria Carmela de Juan, OTR/L  holds a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from San Jose
State University. Maria has completed several advanced courses for Management of
Adults with Hemiplegia. She has worked  in California and Nevada treating stroke
patients in varied settings that includes: acute care, acute rehabilitation, long term care,
assisted living facilities, home health care, and out-patient. Maria currently sees patients
privately, through an acute rehabilitation hospital and home health care.

Home Health Occupational Therapists:
*Michelle Mari-Davis, OTR/L graduated with a B.A.. in Art History (Minor in Fine Arts)
from the University of the Philippines, and a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from
Perpetual Help College. She has worked in physical disabilities in Adult and Geriatric
Population, and also in Home Health Care Services in Chicago, Illinois; and San
Francisco/Marin/San  Mateo Counties in California.
*Michelle Marie Mangio, OTR/L holds a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from University of
Santo Tomas. Michelle has worked with  Adult and Geriatric Population with physical
disabilities in Long Term-Care and Home Health Care Services in San Francisco and San
Mateo Counties in California. She is also interested with out-patient therapy services.

NEURO-IFRAH® Instructors:

Ryan Carmona, PT, GCS, NCS (Texas)

Ryan Carmona, PT, GCS, NCS is a Neuro-IFRAH® Specialist, Neuro-IFRAH Instructor®
and Faculty member of the Neuro-IFRAH® Center in La Jolla, CA. He works closely
with Waleed Al-Oboudi, MOT, OTR, the originator of the Neuro-Integrative Functional
Rehabilitation and Habilitation (Neuro-IFRAH®) in the treatment and management of
adults with hemiplegia from a Stroke and Brain Injury in the Neuro-IFRAH® Center in
La Jolla, CA. Ryan received intensive training for Instructorship and is in continued
advanced clinical mentorship under Waleed Al-Oboudi. He teaches
Neuro-IFRAH®courses with the author nationwide and internationally. He is recognized
as a Geriatric Certified Specialist and Neurologic Certified Specialist by the American
Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He has vast experience in the consultation and
treatment of adults with hemiplegia from a Stroke and Brain Injury in Acute and
Inpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatient, Home Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Ryan is
also the pioneer of EXCEED Seminars and Workshop offering Introductory to Advanced
Neuro-IFRAH® courses and works with Neuro-IFRAH® Specialist-treated private
clientele in the US and internationally.
